I don't think of the hours I spend teaching as "work."
It's more like learning.
Students come to lessons and present the current version of their voice. That version is based on the previous week's practice.
Each lesson is different because the voice is affected by everything!
Allergies
Humidity
Mood
Sleep
Time Constraints and tons more.
Teaching is like solving a mystery or unlocking a safe without a key.
I learn a new way to open up a student's voice every time I teach a lesson.
